GT3 spec Audi R8 LMS : First Video Release

The first video of the recently unveiled GT3 spec Audi R8 LMS has been released at the Essen Motor Show. It is powered by the same engine as the standard version, but it develops 500 hp. Because it has to be GT3 spec the Audi R8 LMS is rear-wheel-drive instead of four-wheel-drive as the production model and is equipped with a six-speed sequential transmission.

Audi Q7 : Review

The Audi Q7 is a full-size luxury sport utility vehicle (SUV) produced by German automaker Audi since its unveiling at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January 2006.

In its name Q7, the "Q" denotes a new family of vehicles for Audi, and the designation "7" marks its placement between the A6 and A8 in Audi's model range.

Though, its 4.2L FSI V6 Petrol engine is a real treat, the Diesel 3L TDI V6 is no less either, it'll pull your house off its place, such is the amount of torque!

2009 Audi TTS US Price Declared

Audi today announced the price for both - Audi TTS US Coupe and the roadster. The Audi TTS, Coupe and Roadster, is powered by a 2.0 TFSI engine that outputs 265 hp at 6000 rpm and 258 lb.-ft. of torque between 2500 rpm and 5000 rpm.

The Audi TTS Coupe gets from 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds and up to a limited top speed of 155 mph. The Coupe version offers a 24 mpg fuel economy. The Audi TTS Roadster needs 5.1 seconds to reach 60 mph and offers a fuel economy of up to 24 mpg.

The Audi TTS US price starts at $45,500 for the coupe and at $47,500 for the Roadster.

As with all 'S-Line' Audi models, a range of exclusivities come packaged. Features exclusive to the TT-S are included, with badging, alloys, a new instrument cluster, Alcantara sports seats, leather multifunction steering wheel and a brushed aluminium cabin being among the exclusive additions.

Audi R8 in India soon...

The Maruti 800, Hyundai Santro and Honda City are cars that do the job of providing transportation from point A to point B but the spice of life, however, comes from exciting exotic cars like, say, an extremely desirable, wish-I had-one, yellow Lamborghini Murcielago. So here comes, another contender in this desirability stakes - Audi R8, which has recently joined the ranks of these super-exalted, blindingly fast, super cars.
German luxury car manufacturer, Audi, will launch its exclusive mid-engine R8 in the later part of 2008 in India. The spectacular model, which is based on the Lamborghini Gallardo platform, combines its superior performance with the unmistakable design proportions of a pure sports car.

The Audi R8 is powered by a 4.2 L FSI V8 engine developing 420 PS (414 hp/309 kW) and 317 ft-lb (430 N-m), a 0-100kmph in 4.6 seconds.
And…the top speed is 301kp/h!! The company, however, has not decided about the pricing of the car in the Indian market.
The Audi R8, which has won several awards in Germany and Europe, would be available at the company's seven exclusive dealerships in Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Pune, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
