Ford released the first image and technical details of the new 2010 Ford Fusion Sport. We only have one image, but it shows the Fusion's new face with an even bigger three-bar grille, nicely contoured hood, angry-eye headlights and a sharply redesigned lower bumper.
The 2010 Ford Fusion Sport will be powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that outputs 263 hp and 249 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine of the 2010 Ford Fusion Sport uses a lightweight dual-overhead cam valvetrain for peak power and smooth operation at high RPMs. The best part? The engine will be paired with Ford's 6F35 six-speed automatic transmission.
The unit also features intake variable cam timing that optimizes valve timing which translates into a smooth idle and a broad torque curve. The engine of the 2010 Ford Fusion Sport has a 10.3:1 compression ratio and aluminum cylinder heads designed for high airflow and optimized combustion.
The 2010 Ford Fusion Sport price has not been announced yet.
