The curtains over Concepts were finally raised. After a series of teasers and speculations, the auto makers, finally, revealed their concepts. Every concept is unique in its own way! ...let us have a look :
Lamborghini Estoque Concept
Following a tantalizing series of teaser images, the Lamborghini Estoque four door concept is finally revealed.
Measuring 5.15 meters long, the unique Estoque, carries a front end in familiar Lamborghini style with gaping diamond shaped air intake scoops linked by a lower spoiler. Under the hood we are likely to find the 560 hp V10 from the Gallardo LP 560-4, and of course with all-wheel-drive.
Nissan Nuvu Concept
The new Nissan Nuvu Concept is a model that would nicely fit into the coming future. The curvaceous body profile, smooth design lines and futuristic interior back up this theory. But back in reality, we are actually looking at a preview of the next generation Nissan Micra.
The mini car is just 3 meters long but the interior has been designed to provide customer the 2+1 layout. Power for the concept comes from a zero emissions Electric drivetrain. This electric motor is mounted on the rear of the vehicle with all of it power output directed to the back wheels. A driving range of 125km and a top speed of 120km/h is speculated.
Citreon GT Concept
After the 6 part series of teaser images, excitement for this concept was starting to wane. However, Citroen have finally pulled off the red sheet on the GT Concept, and we are happy to say that our enthusiasm has been restored.
Measuring 4.960m in length, 2.080m in width and 1.090m in height, the GT Concept is a substantial size. Enhancing its overall presence are the foreboding wheel arches with diamond-effect 21-inch aluminium wheels tucked under, and exaggerated rear end, which Citroen admits is oversized.
Renault Mégane Trophy Concept
After relaesing the Megane Coupe debut earlier today, Renault inflicts the incapacitating sleeper hold by releasing the single-make race series Mégane Trophy version in Paris today.
Mazda Kiyora Concept
Today at the Paris Motor Show Mazda is presenting the latest evolution of their long running Nagare design language concept series with the new Kiyora Concept. The eco-friendly city car has been designed to demonstrate how Mazda will achieve a 30 percent improvement in fuel economy in the near future.
Audi A1 Sportback Concept
Audi's main attraction at the Paris Motor Show is the A1 Sportback Concept, a model that follows the three-door version. This new five-door concept is less than 4 meters long and measures 1.75 meters wide and it features a new version of Audi's hybrid technology.
Under the hood, Audi have placed a 1.4 liter TFSI engine which pumps out 150hp to the front wheels. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) can be achieved in just 7.9 seconds and a top speed on 200 km/h (124 mph). Fuel economy lies at 3.9 liters per 100km (60.31 US mpg) while emissions are just 92 g/km.
